Entry Procedure

Registration, deadline and registration address

All entries on the official ‘Competition Entry Form’ (enclosed) have to be handed in through an EVAA member national association. Registrations handed in from countries with no EVAA member association or with it but not fulfilling its obligations have to be approved by the EVAA council.

The entries have to be on hand with the Organisation Committee by May 30, 2008 at the latest. To establish the participant’s age a copy of birth certificate or ID card or passport should be enclosed to the registration.

Receipt of the registration will be acknowledged to the national association 30 days after the deadline, provided that all participants’ fees have been paid to the LOC.

Entry fees

The contestants are required to pay the participation fees when handing in their registration. Simultaneous payment is necessary; otherwise the registration will be rejected.

Registration Office / Start numbers

After their arrival at Ljubljana, all participants are requested to report to the ‘Registration Office’. In order to receive their competition documents and some further information concerning the competitions.

The office is located near the competition sites of the Ljubljana sports park. It will be open from July 22, 2008 each time from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Confirmation of Participation

Participation in each particular competition must be confirmed by handing over the ’Confirmation Cards’ found in the starting documents at the ‘Final Confirmation Desk’.

The Cards must be handed over not later than one day before the beginning of the competition.

Announcement for relays

The relay entry forms will be available at the ‘Registration Office’. They are to be handed in by the team manager until 2:00 p.m. August 2, 2008 at the ‘Final Confirmation Desk’.
